Most TEC models come in an MA version and in an FS version. The MA version comes with a raised keyboard and includes the cash drawer while the FS version comes with a flat keyboard and comes without a cash drawer (though of course an optional drawer can be connected to it). The discontinued MA-1350 is the only exception as it comes in a raised key and in a flat key version, both of which include a cash drawer.
TEC's
1530 and 1535 models come with raised (MA) or flat (FS) keyboards; the 1530
has two dot matrix printers while the 1535 has two thermal printers. 3 standard
RS232 ports can connect to a scanner, a slip printer and a PC.

One of the latest models in the TEC range of cash registers, the MA-1595 and the FS-1595 come with high-speed dual thermal printers and features fast communication via LAN using a master/satellite network of up to 16 terminals. The operator display can show scrolling messages of up to 64 characters. Capable of connecting to scanners and scales, slip printers and remote cash drawers, the 1595 is suitable for a variety of environments.
